- All sailings are undertaken at the discretion of the vessels skipper. Sailings maybe cancelled curtailed at anytime and without advanced warning when due to adverse weather conditions mechanical break down of any part of the vessels equipment which might, in the skippers opinion, put the lives of passengers and crew at risk.
- Times of sailing are provided to clients as guidance only. Sailing times may alter due to tide weather conditions and clients will be informed by the crew if there is a delay in departure on return to harbour. It may, due to unusual tidal conditions, be necessary to extend a trips time whilst awaiting sufficient tide too return to harbour.
- A full safety briefing on the use of safety equipment will be held prior to departure. Passengers are advised to wear suitable warm clothing.
- Passengers appearing to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused passage onboard the boat. In such circumstances the client/s will forfeit their rights to a refund.
- Fujicat does not guarantee any sightings of any particular species. Cruises are offered to the public on the basis of a chance encounter with some or none of the spiecies known to frequent the area. No compensation or refunds will be paid to any clients who do not see a particular species.
- In the event that sudden bad weather prevents the vessel returning to its point of departure, the skipper reserves the tight to sail to another harbour he considers a safe haven. In such circumstances Fujicat will undertake to transport their clients from the safe haven back to the V & A Waterfront at no cost to the clients. No compensation will be paid to the clients in respect of any delays they may have endured.
- Cancellations of bookings received in writing 28 days before departure will receive a full refund of monies paid. Cancellations made 14-27 days prior to departure will be entitled to a 50% refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days before departure will receive no refund. We recommend you take out holiday insurance to cover against any losses.
- Any refunds of payments made be credit card will be refunded electronically back to the account they came from within 7 days of the cancellation. Refund of monies paid by cheque or cash will be refunded by company cheque within 14 days of the cancellation.
- No compensation will be paid or discussion entered into due to any trips cancelled by Fujicat as a result of bad weather or mechanical breakdown or crew illness, except the refund of all monies paid.
- Where a trip is curtailed early as a result of bad weather or breakdown and such a trip has less than 50% of the scheduled time a voucher for a complimentary trip another day will be offered to clients.
Clients making a booking with payment are accepting these conditions. |
